Join Cincinnati Nature Center at the Preparing for Night Nature Celebration!

MILFORD, OH —  Bring family and friends to Cincinnati Nature Center’s Preparing for Night, an annual celebration of nature under the stars.

The fun begins at 6 p.m until 10 p.m. Friday, September 7 at Cincinnati Nature Center Rowe Woods, 4949 Tealtown Rd. Admission: Member Adult $5; Member Child $1; Nonmember Adult $13; Nonmember Child $4 (6$ on web site). No preregistration is required.

Bring flashlights, pack a picnic dinner, and come enjoy ice cream treats and entertainment generously sponsored by HORAN. Gather at the Krippendorf Lodge terrace and delight in the upbeat folk tunes of local, award-winning band Wild Carrot. Families are also encouraged to explore the Nature PlayScape, a creative play area for kids.

The excitement heightens under the night sky as maps guide guests along the brand new Discovery Trail, dotted with nature stations where naturalists will introduce live animals up close and personal and share nature’s night secrets.

“This year we’re opening up the newly improved Mashburn Family Discovery Trail for visitors to hike and explore under the cover of darkness,” said Bill Hopple, Executive Director at Cincinnati Nature Center. “It is a great opportunity to explore the outdoors at night with your family and friends and take in the evening’s festivities.”

Cincinnati Nature Center Print & Email Marketing

For Cincinnati Nature Center, I updated the design of the quarterly Newsleaf publication and implemented a digital Newsleaf edition. I also designed the email templates for Constant Contact monthly newsletters and as needed invitations and announcements. 

I updated and redesigned the Cincinnati Nature Center print materials, including Newsleaf, the quarterly publication and created two logos to brand the Branch Out Travel program and the Milkweed to Monarchs initiative. I also developed the look for the monthly email newsletters and other email invitations and announcements.
