Cincinnati Nature Center Social Media Engagement

I helped to elevate and coordinate the Cincinnati Nature Center social media presence, focusing mainly on Facebook due to limited resources. With the help of a co-worker, we shot photos and provided captions, almost doubling the amount of Facebook page likes in a year, with increased shares, average post likes and engagement without using paid advertisements. Sometimes photos by coworkers of discoveries made outdoors would be sent to me as well. In addition to promotional posts, the posts like the ones shown here increased engagement and provided a real-time digital snapshot of the trails. Cincinnati Nature Center was featured at an Interact for Health nonprofit social media workshop, Social Media for the Social Good, where we were one of two local organizations whose website and Facebook pages were shown as examples of a job well done.
