The Nature Conservancy and Kennebec Land Trust
My first assignments for the Ohio Chapter of The Nature Conservancy were strictly production, including billboards and other promotional materials. Then my role progressed to include design adaptation for newsletters, fact sheets and signs. This was one of my favorite brands to work on for many reasons — I not only enjoyed the creative aspect, but also working directly with the client and for an organization that works to preserve ecologically important areas.
Between Person and Place, Conservation Histories from the Kennebec Land Trust is a collection of stories for a conservation organization that works with landowners and communities in central Maine. Based on the designer’s client-approved spread, I spun out the rest of the design for the inside pages, coordinated client edits, secured approvals, prepared the book for printing and was responsible for the press check. We also created a brochure to promote KLT.

As always, LPK has produced professional and aesthetically pleasing designs that we are proud to share with our members and the public… Paula Egbers was a delight to work with on this project. Again many thanks for all that LPK does to advance the conservancy’s mission of protecting the diversity of life on earth.
